Sunday Brunch at Theo Randall

After enjoying two fantastic evening’s consisting of A la Carte and a Regional Tasting Menu the team kept saying that we should come for Sunday Brunch. So this weekend we took up their recommendation to which I am now pleased to say was an excellent one. I would also like to say that it is exceptional value for money when you consider the quality of the produce.

The brunch consists of an unlimited Antipasti Buffet before table service takes over where you are served a Pasta dish , your choice of main course and a sharing Dessert Platter. All this is washed down with amazing Negroni’s , Aperol Spritz or Prosecco while listening to the music from the guest singer.

Once you’ve ordered your choice of drink you start with the buffet including Salumi Misti , Carne Salata , Panzanella , Charcuterie , Vegetables and Bread.

APEROL SPRITZ

This is followed by the pasta course which on this occasion was Ravioli filled with swiss chard , rocket , cima di rapa , ricotta , parmesan and sage butter.

RAVIOLI DI ERBETTE

Now it was time to move on to the main course. My wife chose the Sea Bream with datterini tomatoes , fennel , capers , parsley & olives. For myself I opted for the Roasted Rump of Lake District Lamb with caponata & salsa verde. Both these dishes were absolute heaven and accompanied with spinach and potatoes.

It was now time to finish with Theo’s Dolce Platter a fabulous selection of four desserts to share. These were Amalfi Lemon Tart , Chocolate Cake , Panna Cotta & Ricotta Cheesecake brought to us by Dorina who along with Brigida looked after us superbly throughout our brunch.

THEO’S DOLCE PLATTER

We finished with a coffee to bring our brunch to a glorious end. This really was a brunch to beat all others. The food from Theo and his team was amazing , the negroni’s and aperol spritz were heaven , the delightful tunes from the guest singer made you feel very relaxed and the service especially from Dorina & Brigida was first class. I really would highly recommend coming for a weekend brunch considering the quality of food , drinks & service and to repeat it is amazing value for money. I definitely can’t wait for my next visit to Theo Randall at the intercontinental and which I’m sure will be very soon as I consider this restaurant to be the best Italian restaurant in London.

DORINA & BRIGIDA

Thank You Theo , Dorina , Brigida and all the team for an amazing brunch and look forward to seeing you all again soon
