This was another great visit to my favourite Indian restaurant not only in Hornchurch but in Essex itself. The Punjabi style of cooking is really what appeals to us because it’s a different style to any other restaurant in the area. This is why we try to visit as often as possible.
We took up another opportunity to visit again on sunday afternoon. We were given a nice welcome on arrival before being shown to our table. The menu has a vast variety of starters , mains , rice dishes & sides that include vegetarian , meat , seafood and also vegan options. While we decided what to have we enjoyed some Roasted Papadums and dips.

It was now time for our starters where we ordered the Kuch Much Pakora which are mixed vegetable fritters in gram flour batter. The Shakarkandi Chaat which is sweet potato , spices , chickpeas garnished with coriander , pomegranate and a mint & tamarind sauce. Our last choice of starters was the Lamb Gulafi Seekh. These were minced lamb kebabs cooked with Punjabi spices.

Now it was time to choose our mains. We opted for the Saag Aloo which is a mix of spinach & baby potatoes , Punjabi Chicken Karahi which is boneless cubes of chicken cooked with herbs and spices in a North Indian style , Tandoori Lounge Special Lamb these are cuts of lamb cooked in a traditional Punjabi style gravy , Jeera Rice & Lachedar Naan.

All the dishes were perfectly cooked and the flavours and spices were perfect. When you put this together with the excellent service we received from the young team it certainly made for another fabulous visit to the Tandoori Lounge. So yes I am going to highly recommend you come and try this place for yourself and I personally believe you will not be disappointed.
Thank You Haneet , Sukh and all your team for a great afternoon and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Food all looks fabulous.
