Hame by Adam Handling (2)

We first tried Hame by Adam Handling on Boxing Day and the experience was so amazing we simply couldn’t wait to try them again. So with this we took a look at the menu and decided on to order three courses. These were the signature Mother dish , truffle stuffed chicken & the tarte tatin. Just as our previous experience the communication and delivery service was excellent with the package arriving on the friday in the time frame provided. We opened the package and to our surprise there was a couple of extra complimentary treats for us including the nanny sophie’s fried chicken. Every dish was wrapped separately but even if you wanted to separate it wouldn’t matter because each item is colour coded. There like before is a video link where Adam will show you how to prepare every course. These are something I would recommend watching to make things a bit easier for yourself. So it came to saturday and we took everything out of the fridge and laid each course out separately. We’d watched the videos so now it was time to get started. While I had the pressure of putting together Adam’s Signature Mother dish my wife was cooking the Nanny Sophie’s Fried Chicken and I’m very pleased to say not only did they look good they tasted amazing.

While we were enjoying our starters the chicken was in the oven as it takes forty five minutes to cook and then rest for a further thirty minutes. During the resting time we was able to prepare the side dishes of Caesar Salad and the Creamy Mash Potato. The chicken with the addition of truffle was absolutely stunning and to honest if you came across a better chicken dish I would be very surprised.

It was now time for the Tarte Tatin and once we’d assembled the dish into the oven it went. We removed it from the oven and it looked absolutely delicious but we weren’t finished yet as you then had to drizzle a caramel sauce over the top while you let it rest. It came with a fabulous Vanilla Custard which is recommended to be served cold. All I can say is that we both had the biggest smiles on our faces. So yes it was amazing.

So there you have it another fantastic dining experience from Hame by Adam Handling had come to end. Once again the food and service was exceptional and while we wait for the hospitality industry to reopen again I would highly recommend treating yourself to Hame because believe me when I say you will not be disappointed.

Thank You to Adam and all your team and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
