Blackberry and Coteaux

Our amazing lunch at Caractere was about to finish in style as a fabulous dessert was about to be paired with a fantastic sweet wine. The Blackberry Mille Feuille with diplomat cream & milk ice cream was absolutely delicious. It was to be paired by sommelier Romeo with a Coteaux du Layon a fantastic french sweet wine that was bursting with flavours of honey , quince & candied fruits. This was truly a fabulous sweet wine and dessert pairing that won’t be forgotten for quite a while.
