I’m a big Foodie and love dining out in the very best restaurants and gastro pubs in the UK. I also enjoy a good Sunday Roast and supporting my local community.
I been living in Hornchurch for 23 years now and this year celebrated my 28th Wedding Anniversary to my wife Jane . We do enjoy our holidays with Italy , Greece & San Diego as our favourite destinations
I’ve decided to focus more on my Foodie life due to over 7 years ago being struck down with Inward Shingles which has led to me having nerve damage throughout the whole of my right hand side. This has affected me so much that I had to give up playing golf every week and even become unable to continue with yoga due to the lack of strength in arm & leg.
In June 2016 my wife thought it might be a good idea to start a blog to which at the time I just laughed and forgot about it. Then while out to lunch one day a top chef said to me that the amount of times you eat out you should write about it.
So with this I started on my journey and I’m pleased to say that over four years on I absolutely love it. To the fact that for the first time last year I created the “LLOYDIES” My Personal Food Awards. During this time I’ve been very fortunate to have made not only many great friends in the hospitality industry but many amazing connections. This has led me to be able to enjoy some of the most amazing dining experiences.
I thank all my followers for their continued support and hope you will enjoy what’s coming up in the future
Cheers Lloyd! So glad you decided to chronicle your food adventures – I always look forward to your posts.
Thank You Lauren . Going back to my favourite restaurant on Saturday Core by Clare Smyth ⭐️⭐️
Lloyd I had no idea about your health issues. I always love to find out why bloggers started their blog. You are so passionate about food that it absolutely makes perfect sense for you to share this with yourself avid readers.
I really enjoyed finding out more about you Lloyd. The journey and health experience that lead to you starting your blog – it all makes you part of who you are and why we all think you are a great guy as well as a fab foodie blogger!
I hope food blogging has helped fill the gap from golf & yoga – It certainly looks like it filled it with some great looking meals and cocktails, that is for sure! 😉
