Casa Mia Coffee

During the times that we’re in at the moment it’s always good to support local businesses and we were fortunate enough to continue this on saturday. Trying to think of something different to do we noticed that Casa Mia were offering a Takeaway Afternoon Tea for two people at £19.50 which we thought would be a nice idea especially as it was a glorious sunny day. So on the Thursday I placed my order and all you had to do was pick your sandwich selections and what bread you would like. It came to saturday afternoon where I made the 10 minute walk to pick it up. When I arrived the welcome I received was very friendly and was thanked for my support. It was all ready for me including my Snickers FreakShake that would keep me going until I got back home. I know what your all probably thinking but you should know me by now. I arrived home and started to unpack and boy this wasn’t an afternoon tea it was an afternoon feast as inside were four rounds of sandwiches , two scones , carrot cake , victoria sponge , a toasted tea cake , two muffins plus macaroons and mini cakes. This really was excellent value for money and believe me it’s enough for four people. I have to say that everything was nice and fresh but most important of all delicious.

Sandwiches – Italian BMT , Tomato & Cheese , Sausage & Coronation Chicken

Toasted Tea Cake

Victoria Sponge

Carrot Cake

Muffins

Scones

I would highly recommend a visit not only at this time when we all need to Support Small Businesses but also in the future especially when the produce is this good. I for one am looking forward to many more visits in the months ahead.

  2. Wow, that looks delicious! How great that you can get this to take home. I’m looking for something similar for my Birthday….will have to see if there is anywhere in Leeds doing it!
