Due to the great feedback from the 2019 #THELLOYDIES I’ve decided to carry it on into 2020.
So now let me tell you a thing or two about this year’s categories. My decision to call the Michelin Star and Essex categories as a Dining Experience will now extend to the other categories of Gastro Pub , Overseas & London.
My only stipulation is that once a place qualifies in the Michelin Star category they will Not be featured in any of the other Top 5 categories.
I feel using the term Dining Experience will mean that even though a restaurant maybe a big favourite of mine another place might just go that little bit extra to make an experience that bit more special. This could mean either the food , service , ambience , friendliness of staff or even the location. For my favourite category of Desserts this year as well as picking individual winners from each category I’ve also decided to put real pressure on myself by choosing an overall favourite. There will still also be the category of Best Sunday Roast.
I hope you’ll enjoy the year long wait to find out who wins I will certainly take great pleasure in dining at many amazing restaurants.
