My Foodie May

So another great Foodie month comes to an end. This month consisted of visit to a new restaurant Da Terra in a familiar location. We then enjoyed fabulous Italian food at Hotel Excelsior Le Terraze in Lake Garda where we also enjoyed a Michelin Star lunch at Ristorante Lido 84. We then finished the month with my friends at Haywards Restaurant.

We started the month with a first visit to Da Terra at the old site of the Typing Room in Bethnal Green Town Hall. This was a fantastic dining experience where Latin American food gets an Italian influence to bring you flavour sensations you will remember for a long while. I would highly recommend a visit.

The following week we headed of to Lake Garda staying at the Hotel Excelsior Le Terraze. This was our fourth time staying here and one of the many reasons is that the food & service here is excellent.

While in Lake Garda we headed across the lake to Gardone Riviera to enjoy a stunning Michelin Star lunch at Ristorante Lido 84. This was a dining experience that will live long in the memory as the food and service matched the amazing location. If your ever in Lake Garda then I would highly recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant.

We finished the month back at my favourite restaurant Haywards where chef Jahdre treated us to a surprise Tasting Menu to showcase all the new dishes on the various menus and once again they were all fabulous. I know I’ve said it before but really if you live in Essex and haven’t been here yet then you don’t know what your missing as the food and service is excellent.

We there you have it another fantastic Foodie month is brought to a close. Watch out for June as I have an amazing line up planned including our Anniversary week at the end of the month.
