My Foodie April

A delightful Foodie month which consisted of a visit to the new 104 Restaurant as well as a long overdue return to the Michelin Starred Murano Also in this month were two more fantastic visits to my local favourite Haywards in Epping for different dining experiences. We also enjoyed a fantastic return to the Frog Hoxton in East London and a fabulous Sunday Lunch at The Pig & Whistle in Chelmsford.

We started in Notting Hill now the home of Richard Wilkins new restaurant 104 where we were treated to a fantastic Tasting Menu Lunch. The food & wine was was fabulous and I would definitely recommend a visit.

The following weekend we enjoyed a stunning return to the Frog Hoxton. The food was absolutely fantastic and we were well and truly spoiled. Our friends who we took for their first visit came away enjoying it as much as we did which was great. I would not only say that I would highly recommend but a visit here really is a must. On the Sunday it was yet another fabulous return to my favourite Haywards. This visit was for a glorious Roast Pork lunch. There roast dinners really are a delight whether it be for the Beef , Lamb Chicken or indeed the Pork.

The next weekend was a long overdue and amazing return to Michelin Star Murano where we enjoyed excellent Italian food & wine. This was matched by the friendly & professional service. It was also a pleasure to meet the sous chef Martina in the kitchen afterwards. Then on the Sunday it was a return visit to the Pig & Whistle in the delightful setting of Chignal Smealy to once again enjoy another amazing Sunday Roast.

To finish the month we headed back to see my great friends at Haywards for a fabulous lunch and to sample more of the amazing dishes which are created from the finest local ingredients by the Chef Patron Jahdre Hayward. It really is a pleasure to dine hear as we’re never disappointed.

So that’s it for April which I think you’ll agree was another great Foodie month. May will be a bit quieter as I’ll be off to Lake Garda for a weeks holiday. I do have a great new restaurant lined up though before we go and a visit to a favourite when we return so stay tuned.

Happy Dining 😀

We do enjoy our holidays with Italy & San Diego as our favourite destinations I've decided to focus more on my Foodie life due to over 3 years ago being struck down with nerve damage and recently spondylosis I do enjoy my sport and follow Chelsea , Juventus & San Diego Padres
