It’s not often that I visit a chained restaurant but I can honestly say that after our visit today I would willingly return to this particular branch of the Prezzo chain. Our visit to this restaurant in fact only came about via a friends Buy A Gift present so when we looked at what places we could choose from we decided that because we’d never before been here that we would use the gift as an opportunity to visit. We arrived on Sunday and was given a nice welcome. When we gave our name they said can we check your here as part of a BuyAGift we confirmed this and was taken to our table. The restaurant is set out with the bar on the right that leads on to booths that continue along he right hand side. There are tables at the front and tables for two set out down the middle with more booths on the left. There are more tables at the far end for larger parties in front of the open kitchen. We were on one of the tables for two and once seated were then given the menu. We didn’t know at the time of booking but they do have a set BuyAGift menu which is quite limited so we therefore asked if we could order extra items of the main menu which they gladly said was not a problem. We started with the Giant Meatballs & Calamari with an extra side order of Garlic Bread.

We then moved onto our mains where I upgraded my Vesuvio pizza to large. Along with this we also had the Spaghetti Bolognese with the addition of two sides a Rocket Salad & Fries

We then finished with two delightful desserts one being the Tiramisu and the other the Honeycomb Cheesecake.

I have to say that despite being on a restricted menu it didn’t distract from a nice lunch. The food was really good and has definitely made us want to return and try the full menu. I would also like to say a Thank You to all of the staff for their great friendly service which is another reason for returning. So when you put the food & service together I would have to say that this is probably the best restaurant of the Prezzo chain that I have visited. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Those meatballs look good. I think the cheesecake sounds delicious too. I don’t think I’ve been to Prezzo for years but sounds like a lovely lunch!
