My Foodie November

This month I had the pleasure of visiting three new restaurants as well as a long overdue return to a 3 Michelin Stars restaurant. There was also still time to visit my local favourite. We started the month in my county of Essex with a visit to Le Bouchon Brassiere with our friends who lived locally. The food was nice but just felt the service needs to be a bit better from a couple of members of staff.

The following weekend we stayed in Essex and enjoyed a fabulous complimentary three course lunch with drinks at the George & Dragon Pub in Epping. This was due to the pub undergoing a refurbishment so we’re looking for reviews therefore I was was very honoured to receive an invitation and happy to oblige.

It was back to Epping the following week to enjoy another fabulous lunch at my favourite restaurant Haywards. A real pleasure once again and it was great to try all the new dishes. Also really proud that they now hold 2 AA Rosettes a well deserved award.

The following Friday we absolutely loved our long overdue return visit to the 3 Michelin Stars Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for a sublime evening of outstanding food & wines with the added honour of meeting Chef Matt Abe in the kitchen.

Our final dining experience of the month took us to Kyseri the new Turkish restaurant from Selin Kiazim in Fitzrovia. It’s certainly amazing and the food very different from your normal Turkish.

This certainly was another delightful month and a great way to lead into the festive season where I have more delights lined up.

I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you in 2019

Happy Dining 😀
