My Marvellous Foodie March

This was certainly another great Foodie month for me with visits to a few of my favourites for a different type of occasion and a great new place for a Sunday lunch to where I’m looking forward to returning soon. I started with a visit to The Hoop where I’d previously enjoyed a fabulous Sunday Lunch but this visit was for a Chefs Tasting Menu and along with a guest wine producer made for a really great evening as the wine complimented the fantastic food. This was followed with a first visit to Thompson Dining in St Albans where we had the most amazing Sunday Lunch in fact it was a roast dinner to die for and definitely looking forward to returning very soon for a Tasting Menu

The following week it was another memorable visit to Core by Clare Smyth where the food , wine & service was once again outstanding and without any doubt will surely rise all the way to the top. In my mind it’s a must visit . Then it was a visit to my favourite place Haywards for a fantastic Tasting Menu evening a restaurant that is definitely going from strength to strength and one my county of Essex should be very proud of.

HAYWARDS

On the Sunday it was off to The Rabbits Pub for lunch and with great food & friendly service made for a great afternoon. The following Saturday took us back to Haywards but this time for a Cooking Demo which is always a good and interesting experience when you see the amount of work that goes into creating a dish.

I'm a big Foodie and love Fine Dining in AA Rosette and Michelin Star restaurants also enjoy good Pub Food especially Desserts . I been living in Hornchurch for 20yrs now and this year celebrate my 25th Wedding Anniversary to my wife Jane . We do enjoy our holidays with Italy & San Diego as our favourite destinations I've decided to focus more on my Foodie life due to over 3 years ago being struck down with nerve damage and recently spondylosis I do enjoy my sport and follow Chelsea , Juventus & San Diego Padres
