Blacklock Soho

What an absolute treat this Meat feast turned out to be. Having seen lots of pictures and some reviews I really couldn’t wait to visit Blacklock. So as we were in London to see a show it wasn’t hard to choose where we would be eating afterwards. You arrive at the door entrance thinking that you could see the restaurant but in fact it’s downstairs. So as you descend down the stairs the amazing aromas meet you. There is definitely a great vibe to the place and the staff were very friendly. We started with a cocktail and their own Blacklock Brew lager. Then the waitress came over to guide us through the menu as there are so many different cuts of steaks & chops. We decided to choose the All In which was amazing value for money and gave you a chance to sample a variety of the delicious chops. We started with some delicious Pre Chop Bites which are included in the All In deal Cheese & Pickle , Pigs Head & Kimchee & Egg with Anchovy

This led us nicely onto the main event a fantastic selection of Skinny Chops (beef rump, lamb cutlet, lamb t.bone, pork loin, pork rib & pork belly) along with our choice of sides Beef Dripping Chips and the best Sweet Potato I’ve ever had as it was 10hr ash roasted . We also ordered a couple of extra sides which I do think you need a winter salad & the highly recommended Barbecued Baby Gem lettuce with anchovy dressing. They had a nice selection of sauces , which the Garlic Marrow Spread was heaven

After finally finishing the amazing feast we did need a nice break before dessert which they only did one. But it was well worth the wait a truly fabulous Homemade White Chocolate Cheesecake with fresh Rhubarb in a separate bowl

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE with RHUBARB

So with our stomachs we’ll and truly full this brought to an end a glorious dining experience and one that would very highly recommend. I would also say that if there was more than Two people then although open all day on Saturday they were very busy. But once you’ve been you’ll understand why. It was also nice to chat with Beth one of the managers who showed great interest in what we thought during and after
