The Thatched House

A lot of the time on a Sunday you just need a place with nice food good and friendly service and a family atmosphere and today that’s exactly what we got. This was our first visit to the Thatched House in Upminster part of the Vintage Inn chain and we had a lovely family lunch the staff were indeed very friendly and made us feel welcome. We were well looked after by our waitress Sonia who really went the extra mile making sure we had everything we needed. The food was nicely cooked two had the roast sirloin one of us had the steak& mushroom pie and I had the roast Beef duo which included a delicious Beef Rib. The desserts were also nice and you can’t beat a crumble with your Sunday lunch and I had a delightful dessert platter a nice mix of four desserts. So if it’s a nice relaxing and friendly family Sunday lunch your looking for then this could be the place for you
