A fantastic restaurant high up on the cliffs of La Jolla in San Diego with a stunning view of the Cove with easy access from the main street this was just the first delightful thing about this place the second thing was the friendliness of every member of staff especially our waitress Laurie who was very pleasant throughout our lunch and gave us great recommendations on what to eat & drink . We were sat out on the terrace which was perfect as it was a hot day and I started with a delightful Virgin Lavender Colada Mocktail then after perusing the Menu we decided to have the Coconut Shrimp Croquettes & Korean Sticky Ribs to start and both dishes were excellent & flavoursome which made our anticipation for our main courses exciting. For this on the advice of our waitress we had the Sautéed Macnut & Herb Crusted the fish was Opah a firm & fatty texture but really delicious and I said I’d just have the fish sandwich but the waitress said that was an excellent choice and she wasn’t wrong as it was definitely the best I’ve had. So now to the desserts to which I was curious because while we were enjoying our first two courses there was obviously a very popular dessert being brought out and it looked amazing so I asked the waitress and she said it’s the Hula Pie which was huge with a cookie crust , macadamia nut ice cream , whipped cream , hot fudge & nuts therefore I had to try it and wow it was a dessert lovers dream we also had the Malasadas which were a Portuguese Pastry & Guava Jam also delicious this concluded a fantastic lunch. It’s definitely a place I would highly recommend because of the great food and the friendly nature of all the staff which made you feel really welcome . I only wish I didn’t have to wait a few years before I can go back
