Hilton Hotel Resort and Spa

So this was our 6th visit to San Diego and this was the first time we returned to a hotel that we had previously stayed & to be honest it wasn’t a difficult choice. The hotel is in a fantastic location that is the Mission Bay Area that overlooks Fiesta Island & Seaworld San Diego plus perfect for accessibility to location amenities and main highways. But the main reason we decided to return was the relaxing & friendliness feel this hotel offers . Every member of staff from the cleaner , reception . Waiters/Waitresses and the management are very friendly & professional and nothing is to much trouble so that your stay is a memorable one . On this occasion our room was situated on the 5th floor in the Tower which was perfect as it gave you a amazing view of the hotel skyline and a lovely view of the bay . The room was huge with two large double beds and an abundance of room around them . Another reason for staying here is the large pool and area around the pool including Frescos Pool Bar for delicious Smoothies and great lunches . There are plenty of sun beds and also Cabanas that you can hire it also has a couple of fire pits so that you can sit around the pool in the evening. Now onto the food they have a delightful little coffee shop called Aroma where you can choose from a great selection of coffee & teas plus a lovely selection of snacks and if you like a sweet coffee may I suggest the Almond Joy for me it was heaven . They have a nice bar called the Olive Lounge for inside & outside food & drinks and I have to say the food was excellent . They also have a Fine Dining restaurant the Acqua and although we didn’t actually dine there we did manage to sample a couple of the dishes and they were fantastic . Looking forward to returning to San Diego soon and would have to say that this hotel would be top of the list of where to stay so yes if of staying in San Diego then I would highly recommend this hotel

I'm a big Foodie and love Fine Dining in AA Rosette and Michelin Star restaurants also enjoy good Pub Food especially Desserts . I been living in Hornchurch for 20yrs now and this year celebrate my 25th Wedding Anniversary to my wife Jane . We do enjoy our holidays with Italy & San Diego as our favourite destinations I've decided to focus more on my Foodie life due to over 3 years ago being struck down with nerve damage and recently spondylosis I do enjoy my sport and follow Chelsea , Juventus & San Diego Padres
