You may or may not know that I do get about a bit on my Foodie travels so today it was wit delight that got on a bus from my town of Hornchurch & headed of for a short distance to Upminster & into Pizza Express we went. The restaurant had a nice feel to it and the staff were very friendly. We started with th the Cod Crochette , Caesar Salad & Garlic Bread with Mozzarella before moving on to the pizzas of Pollo ad Astra & Pizza Diavolo both freshly cooked with no shortage on the toppings and a lovely thin crust . And of course I had to have dessert a delicious Chocolate Fudge Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. This certainly was a nice lunch with good food & service so all credit to this branch of the Pizza Express chain
