My July Foodie Delights

Well this certainly was a great Foodie Month for me as I managed to dine at five restaurants that I’d never been to before and the first one was actually on the opening day of the month and what a start with an incredible Turkish meal at Oklava in Shoreditch with a stunning menu created by the amazing Selin Kiazim. The following week was a long overdue visit to Medlar in the heart of the Kings Road and it was well worth the wait outstanding food with a local friendly feel to the place . So onto the following Saturday and another new restaurant and this one was a little bit different it was a 10 seater chefs table at Crockers in Potten End , Berkhamsted and definitely worth a visit as you see the chef Scott Barnard prepare each dish before your very eyes. Well I couldn’t make it through the month without a visit to my second home Haywards in Epping this time to sample the new dishes created by chef Jahdre Hayward that were going on the menu and of course they were fantastic as usual and then on the Sunday if of to Shoreditch this time for some amazing Smokehouse BBQ at Smokestak the aromas and flavours were heaven. Then on the last weekend of the month we had a delightful overnight stay at the Cromwell Hotel in Stevenage enjoying a really nice meal in there restaurant the Rump & Wade good English food with nice friendly service. This rounded of a really great month lets see what August brings
