My Amazing Foodie June

I have to say this month has been a real treat visiting some old favourites & some New places one of those being where the month started at Shackfuyu in Soho a delightful & friendly little restaurant serving excellent Japanese cuisine including the Iberico Pork Pluma . The following weekend i stayed in my county of Essex where I tried a new place called Rubino Kitchen in Maldon a lovely little place set on a farm & the food was superb especially the Haddock Scotch Egg on the Sunday it was back to my favourite Haywards in Epping it never disappoints. So onto the following Saturday where I went to Chotto Matte to try the new Weekend Brunch Menu and the quality of the Nikkei cuisine was as good as always which included the fantastic Beef Short Rib. So where next we’ll actually it was back to Essex for a great Fathers Day lunch at the Two Brewers in Chigwell where the roast dinners were a nice hearty portion so will definitely return here. We’re into the last week now & on the Saturday we returned to Haywards for a lovely lunch to set us on our way as we celebrating our Anniversary over the next couple of days to which our Anniversary Eve dinner was at the amazing setting of Clivenden House but in The Astor Grill where the food & service was first class with the Chocolate Ganache dessert the star of the show. So to the highlight of the month our 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner for this we made a return to The Artichoke in Amersham for a fantastic Tasting Menu with the perfect selection of matching Wines made it a glorious evening.
