The Astor Grill at Clivenden House

First thing to say is that the drive up to Clivenden House is absolutely stunning then you avert your eyes to the right to see the glorious looking Astor Grill a amazing transformation of an old stable. A warm and friendly greeting on arrival makes you feel ready to enjoy your evening and we certainly did . The Astor Grill Menu is ideal for all of the family with a great variety of dishes .We started with delightful Crudités & Crispy Fried Queen Scallops before moving on to our starters of Prawn Cocktail also Burrata with Anchovies & Caramalised Onion both a real treat . Our mains was a glorious Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich & Fries plus a fantastic Pollock Dish wit Mussels and of course we had to have a side order of Truffed Triple Cooked Chips just heaven . The desserts were also amazing a Eton Mess & one of the best I’ve had a fantastic Chocolate Ganache. It’s a real relaxing setting with high quality family menu making it a perfect alternative to the excellent fine dining in Clivenden House and would highly recommend a visit to this stunning location . It certainly was a great way to our anniversary celebrations #foodie #hospitality #luxury

I'm a big Foodie and love Fine Dining in AA Rosette and Michelin Star restaurants also enjoy good Pub Food especially Desserts . I been living in Hornchurch for 20yrs now and this year celebrate my 25th Wedding Anniversary to my wife Jane . We do enjoy our holidays with Italy & San Diego as our favourite destinations I've decided to focus more on my Foodie life due to over 3 years ago being struck down with nerve damage and recently spondylosis I do enjoy my sport and follow Chelsea , Juventus & San Diego Padres
